What a week.

Another week, another bout of craziness going on here.

Last week, I noticed a total ant infestation in my kitchen. Gross, right? And the little amount of food that WAS out, wasn't that old but was totally covered in ants. Out it went. I cleaned, cleaned, cleaned- couldn't figure out where they were coming from, and called B to tell him. He brought some bug killer home that evening, and it is a good thing he did. They were TWICE as bad after I cleaned them up!

They started dying so we just left that area of the kitchen alone. My mom made a good point by saying "at least you don't have to cook in it right now!" Very true! Since Brandon and I have been working, we just eat at work with everyone else. I can't remember the last time we all sat at the table and had a meal.

But then we got done a little earlier than planned on Tuesday, and I have no groceries in the house. I told B we would just have frozen pizza. Perfect. Until I walked back inside to check on the pizza and my oven wasn't getting hot. After 15 minutes. I think the element is out. :( I could have just cried- it had been a long day and now I couldn't even make a pizza! Dang hormones. Thank goodness for the pizza pizzazz!

I am almost scared to touch any other appliances/anything in this house for fear it will be broken.

When it rains it pours right? I HATE ants... I actually can handle bugs but not ants! We had issues this spring and I made my husband call a professional to spray! $200 later, the ants were gone! LOL!

We too had ANTS! I tried all these natural solutions to get rid of them- ground pepper, vinegar, cinnamon, but none of them worked like Bart spraying bug spray outside. Gotta love good bug-killing husbands!

Heather has a good remedy for ants. They used to get them badly and I can't remember what the name of the product was now, but she said they worked like a charm! Also, we love our pizzazz too! We use it for lots more than pizza though. Garlic bread, cheese sticks, hashbrowns [the square ones], potato skins, etc. Good luck with the oven.

EWWW ants! Can't stand them. We discovered carpenter ants just days before I went into labor with my second son. I was all shades of freaked out picturing them crawling all over the crib in the nursery. So we called a professional and they got rid of them. *shudder*
